Terms and conditions
Last updated 2 November 2026 · Version 1.0
These terms apply to the Unlimit SioS app and to the self-checkout terminals operated on the Unlimit SioS platform. By creating an account or using a terminal you accept them.
The service
Unlimit SioS lets you buy goods in shops that use our platform, by scanning at a terminal. Payment is always taken at the terminal, never in the app. The platform is operated by Unlimit Group A/S. The goods are sold by the shop, not by us.
Your account
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details and your device secure.
- An account is personal. Do not let someone else use it.
- You must be old enough to enter a binding contract, and old enough for any age-restricted goods you buy.
Payment and receipts
Payment is taken at the time of purchase by card through our payment providers. You receive a receipt at the terminal, by email, or as a digital receipt you can open from a link or QR code. Prices are set by the shop and include VAT where it applies.
Loyalty points
Where a shop offers loyalty points, points are earned and redeemed on the terms that shop sets. Points have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and lapse if the account is closed.
Unmanned shops
In an unmanned shop, entry may be granted through the app and your visit is recorded. You must pay for everything you take, take only what you have paid for, and leave the shop as you found it. Shops are monitored and incidents may be reported.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to bypass payment, interfere with a terminal, use another person's account, or disrupt the service. We may suspend or close an account that is used this way.
Faulty goods and your right to complain
If something you bought is faulty you have two years to complain about it under the Danish Sale of Goods Act (købeloven § 83). Take it up with the shop you bought it from, which is the seller. If you cannot reach them, call us on +45 25 61 66 55 and we will help you make contact.
No 14-day right of withdrawal
The 14-day right of withdrawal (fortrydelsesret) applies to distance selling. It does not apply to what you buy in a shop, including an unstaffed shop you let yourself into, because the purchase is made on the premises. Your right to complain about a faulty item, above, is unaffected.
Misuse
Letting someone else in on your account, taking goods without paying for them at the terminal, or interfering with a door or a terminal may lead to your account being suspended and, where a crime has been committed, to a report to the police. Shops are monitored.
Availability
We work to keep the service available but cannot guarantee it is uninterrupted. Maintenance, faults or connectivity problems may make a terminal or the app temporarily unavailable.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer under Danish law.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last changed. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by Danish law, and a dispute is heard by the Danish courts.
If you are a consumer and we cannot settle a complaint between us, you can take it to Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, naevneneshus.dk. Complaints about a product itself are for the shop that sold it.
